Reports to the Industrial Chain Manager
YOUR MISSION
The job holder will manage Customs regulations at both national and international level and ensures Customs optimization.
The job holder will work with Customs authorities, internal customers, freight forwarder and broker to organize and follow Customs formalities.
The job holder will also be involved in the organization of transportation, and will support and back-up the Logistics team in the interface with the freight forwarder.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Stay up to date with Customs Regulations and Compliance company Customs authorization
- Manage Customs agreement and ensure they are properly managed and adhered to all Customs
- Coordinate with Customs authorities to resolve potential issues
- Accountable for Customs operations to ensure they meet high standards in term of deadline, costs and reliability
- Collaboration with Customs authorities (National and Local), freight forwarder and customs broker
- Identify risks and propose strategies to mitigate
- Organization and management of shipments: oversee the issuing and control of all necessary shipment documents to ensure smooth and efficient transport and Customs operations
- Coordinate within the Operations Team to ensure transmission of information and operational efficiency
- Provide support and back-up to Logistics team in the interface with the freight forwarder, including organizing receptions and dispatch when necessary
- Collaboration with Internal customers (Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance
- Magement and follow-up of customs broker (instructions, monthly KPI’s to achieve optimal customs operations, audit)
YOUR PROFILE
- High and broad knowledge of Customs regulations (classification, specific authorizations, VAT, …)
- High level of Customs classification and technical understanding of the parts
- Mastering SAP MM/VL/VT Modules
- Strong communication & emotional intelligence skill
- Capacity to embrace change and be solution oriented
- Languages: French & English (professional)
- 5 to 10 years of experience
